I took this image from Colleen's blog, http://queenoftoast.blogspot.com. I really enjoyed looking through a lot of her artistry, with not only paper, but sewing and developing other images through photographs and significant memories. I took this picture, because even though the people's faces are not shown, the viewer knows they are present. This seems like a good solution for us who are afraid to draw people in spaces.

I took this image from France Belleville's site, http://www.wagonized.typepad.com. I think her work is gorgeous, everything she draws is with great detail and every view is taken with great consideration. I think even from a distance, her people will probably still be difficult to duplicate.

This image was taken from Tommy Kane's blog, http://www.paulabecker.com/blog. I love his work. It is reminds me a lot of characatures. His style is very colorful and vibrant. This image works well because the people in his drawing are shown, but not in full detail.

I got this image from the site, Whateverings by Paula J. Becker, http://www.yakubiuk.com/wordpress. I think her work is amazing, the way she draws people is very cartoon-y, but viewer friendly as well. I think her style would be very hard to duplicate.

This image was taken from a blog the site is http://www.yakubiuk.com/wordpress/. I thought these images were really neat because they were messy, but definitely portrayed a realistic scale figure.

5 Perspective Drawing References

This drawing is taken from Suzanne Buchanan's work. I always love Suzanne's work and find it very fun and creative. I picked this piece because it contained a different shading method than I am used to and it also includes an actual structured piece in the sketch. This drawing was taken from Color Drawing; Design skills and techniques for Architects, Landscape Architects and Interior Designers 2nd Edition written by Michael E. Doyle; (John Wiley and Sons Inc., 1999)

This is my replica drawing of one of the Color Drawing book sketches. I tried to make it look very mechanical and exact I would have changed a couple of the angles in the drawing, but overall I was happy with this piece.

This is my replica drawing. I tried to make sure it was sketchy and very pencil looking even though it was in ink. I am planning on adding more shadowing effects to this piece.

This drawing was taken from Sketching and Rendering Interior Spaces written by Ivo D. Drpic Page 140-141, (Whitney Library of Design, 1988)

This is my replica drawing from one of the images in Sketching and Rendering Interior Spaces. I think next time I should have made the drawing more contour like and not as detailed. Through the details I definitely added a personal touch, which took away from the replication process. I also should not have added the black fill in as well.
